Wilkes-Barre Area High School

This new High School which would include the consolidation of two existing 100 year+ high schools. This New 4 story, 350,000 s.f. High School located inside the city of Wilkes-Barre on Washington Street would include Main Office/ Administrative Suite, Nurse’s Suite, Guidance Counselor’s Suite, Cafeteria, kitchen, Auditorium, Chorus Room, Band Room, Gymnasium with 1,800 seats, Auxiliary Gymnasium, Locker rooms, STEM lab spaces, 71 general class rooms, 19 science labs, special education rooms, Library/ Media Center in addition to all the required support spaces.
